Information we collect
- Contact & account details: name, email, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash) and your communication preferences.
- Order details: shipping and billing addresses, items, designs, order notes and messages you send us.
- Artwork & designs: files you upload and the designs you create, so we can produce your order and let you reorder.
- Payment information: card details are entered into our payment processor’s secure form and sent directly to them. We receive only the card brand, last four digits and the transaction result — never your full card number or security code.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used to keep the site secure and working.
How we use it
- To make, ship and support your orders — including artwork review and production.
- To send transactional emails: order confirmations, artwork questions, shipping and delivery updates, and password resets.
- To send marketing emails or texts, only if you opt in. You can opt out any time in your account settings or with the unsubscribe link.
- To calculate sales tax, prevent fraud, keep accounting records and comply with the law.
- To improve our products and site.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the shop, and only what they need:
- Payment processing (TrueFlight, powered by Moov) to charge your card and issue refunds.
- Shipping carriers and our shipping software (such as ShipStation, USPS and UPS) to create labels and deliver your order.
- Email delivery and hosting providers that operate our website and send our emails.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, customers or the public. We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your artwork
Your artwork is yours. We use it only to produce and support your orders and to let you reorder. We will never use your designs in our marketing without your written permission.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies: one keeps you signed in and one remembers your cart and in-progress designs. They’re required for the site to work. We don’t use advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep account information while your account is active. Order records — including addresses and amounts — are kept for as long as required for tax and accounting purposes (generally seven years). Uploaded artwork that isn’t attached to an order may be deleted after a period of inactivity.
Your choices & rights
- Update your profile and preferences any time in account settings.
- Delete your account from account settings. We’ll remove your profile, saved addresses and designs; order records are retained as described above.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing support@badassswag.com.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. We honor those requests and won’t discriminate against you for making them.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls for our staff and a PCI-compliant payment processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify you if a breach affects you.
Children
Our site is not directed to children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information.
